LGU – Davao turned-over Four (4) Vehicles to Agriculture Cooperatives of Davao City

Last March 16, 2021, the City Cooperative Development Office attended the turnover ceremony of four (4) vehicles to agriculture cooperatives of Davao City by the LGU- Davao thru the City Agriculturist Office in close collaboration with the World Bank and the Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Rural Development Project – Investment in Rural Enterprise for Agriculture and Fisheries Productivity (PRDP – IREAP) at Davao City Food Terminal Complex (DFTC), Daliao, Toril District, Davao City

One (1) delivery truck was given to Tapak Farmers Marketing Cooperative (TFMC) for its Abaca Processing and Marketing Enterprise also; one (1) delivery van was given to Biao Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (BARBCO) for the cooperative’s Chocolate Processing Enterprise. For Tablea Processing and Marketing Enterprise of Tawan-tawan Multipurpose Cooperative (TMC), one (1) delivery van and one (1) motorcycle was given to them.

Davao City Mayor, Hon. Sara Z. Duterte, together with City Agriculturist, Mr. Leo Brian Leuterio, and Cooperative Officer, Ms. Luzminda C. Eblamo spearheaded the turnover with other stakeholders such as Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA) with PhilFIDA OIC, Ms. Milagros Laborada, and Department of Agriculture XI – PRDP Representative, Mr. Warjie Dalagan.
